Machinist X99-K9 review
There are more and more models of Chinese socket motherboards 2011-3, the manufacturer under the Machinist brand has released another board, this race is a beautiful snow-white X99-K9. The radiators are also made in white, the drawing on the radiators is paint, not a sticker, even the SATA ports are white.

The BIOS battery is located vertically in a place that is inconvenient to remove, between the audio and LAN ports, if you need to reset the BIOS with a battery, you will have to suffer. There is a jumper to reset the BIOS, so it is possible to reset the BIOS after the firmware and do not have to remove the battery. The BIOS chip is located in a convenient place right under the SATA ports, nothing prevents the connection of the programmer's clothespin.

There are two M.2 connectors for drives, the top SATA, the bottom NVME, and under it there is also a WiFi M.2 connector. There is an LED backlight. There are only two PCIe slots, one x16 for a reinforced metalized video card and the second x1 for additional equipment. There is no speaker and built-in POST card, but there is a connector for the speaker, right under the BIOS reset jumper. The 8-pin processor power connector is located with the latch-up, the radiator should not interfere with connecting/disconnecting the CPU power.

In general, a very beautiful snow-white motherboard turned out, the Machinist X99-K9 model is perfect for white cases.
